A quick upload as I head out the door to work, taken last Sunday up on Stanage Edge after I'd spend a great couple of hours wandering around the collection of millstones lower down.

Brilliant; very atmospheric with great DoF from your composition and the mist. You've done well to avoid any lens flare! Trying to be critical, I wonder if bracketing your shot down would have given you the option of blending in a less dominant sun?

Hi Al

I did bracket the shot by +1 and +2 but didn't feel that exposure blending would produce the scene as I had perceived it with the frost laden heather and the intense burst of white winter sunlight. The image is a straight shot with 0.6 and 0.9 Hard ND Grads to hold the sky and +1.7 exposure compensation to hold detail in the shadows in the foreground, which is key to this shot.
