This is my first real attempt at using my software (Elements 8). My personal view is to use software as little as possible to alter my photos, unless like in this case where it is obvious that I have changed the photo to create an “image” rather than a photo. This was a picture I took in Cape Town 3 weeks ago on the notorious Chapman's peak. The weather was really mizzy for most of the three days I was there, bad light, rain and wind – not a recipe for good photos.

Like the light and tones in this Chris a good sky to balance the image too. Think it just needs a slight tweak to the horizontal as the sea looks to be running down to the LHS.

This is excellent image of Chapman's peak, mono works well, adds to the atmosphere
