Something a little dreamy. You'll love it or hate it I guess. It's a change from rust and sepia and the other stuff I've been posting lately.
Please view it large if you can.
I would be really interested in your reaction to this.

I quite like the overall effect. You have created a degree of softness, without losing too much detail at points of interest. Would probably look good printed on canvas or matte paper.

Lovely tranquil feel to this, refreshingly different with good tones, agree this would look good on canvas.

I'm so glad that many people picked up the word "tranquil", that was just what I was aiming for.
Thanks for all the reaction and feedback.

I like this one. Reminds me of a pastel on canvas I saw once of Venice. Different boats of course

Don't know why but I like this Chris. I've sailed around this area (and gone aground)maybe I'm being sentimental, but it's so tranquil a portrayal, nice one

I love the image, the high-key and the tones. Except the pink. Bleah! I'd love to see this again, sans rose!

Like the soft pastel tones, an interesting take on a much photographed scene and as others have said - has a very tranquil feel to it, well taken.

Watcha Chris,
excellent bit of work; pink, perhaps, a little too much, a little out of balance with the other colours??? This would make an excellent print on a high quality pearl paper.
