A lazy evening stroll on Bournemouth beach. Used Channel Mixer to convert to b/w, then tweaked the colours to get the sepia effect.

Wow! This would look really good on canvas! Very 'Athena'
I like the deatils, also like it in B/W.
Very nice, but no disrespect, it really does look like something "Shane" might have done!
Lovely capture! Lyns x
Thanks everyone. Yep, you're right Ade, but if you have a look at the photo montage on the inside back cover of the "Dorset Jaguar" magazine, for which I did the design and artwork for about 5 years, you'll see something very similar. But Shane is undeniably the master.
Wasn't a criticism Chris, just a observation....
As for the "Dorset Jaguar" magazine, I'll have a look as I have a copy just lying around somewhere.....LOL
I'm sure you right mate.
Very good work to get this smooth sepia textured effect, smashing scene well done, Adrian
A great shot Chris with a lovely range of tones and well composed. Beautifully presented too. Well done. CLIK.
tis a lovely composion and the sepia works well
I agree with (jkennedy) and a nice comp to.
Funny how a quiet evening stroll can stir up a little controversy.lol
Have a good one.
i like it alot, find it serene
Good capture and suits the conversion.
A really delightful image.
Excellent toning Chris, well presented too.
A beautiful peaceful feel to your image Chris...I can hear the gentle wave motion on the shingle...quality stroll and well captured.
love the sepia effect, really makes this image work. very lazy and soft.
Excellent Chris, love it.
Love this sort of shot as you know. Great tones and well presented
Nice candid shot Chris
Peaceful image, works really well
My compliment and observations would be superflous. Stunning image well worth committing to canvas. John
I like the way you did the conversion. Lots of tones or gamut or whatever high-fallutin' word you use for lots of greys between the black and white!
I know what you mean about giving it a push toward another colour, straight black and white can often seem very bleak, but a little brown warms it right up!
This shot I liked a lot.
People, a pet, the sea- all is composed excellently.
The colors are soft and pleasant for the eye.
Thank you for your comments.
Good decision about toning!
