A mono version of the Lovers' Bridge pic. Annecy is a beautiful little town on a lake in the Alps, 20 miles or so from Geneva. It's a total tourist trap, but pretty with it.
All comments and crits very welcome.

I didn't know you could change the background; but I just have, to black as suggested.

Good work, Chris. Think this looks better in sepia than in the colour version. A small point. I don't think the mid grey background suits this. Perhaps black or even white might be better.
Dave.

Now this one really is good to look at. I thought the previous one was a little over-worked and as such the post-processing distracted from the scene, but this one is delightful. Good work, well done.

Hi Chris!

This really does look good in mono! It really brings out the composition nicely...

Sorry if I was a little direct with my opinions on your previous treatment of this picture. Some things suit certain subjects but not others and your original treatment may have been fine for a different type of shot.

Anyway, this has come together really well. Lovely work!

Thanks everyone! The previous version of this shot was rightly criticised and I'm much better pleased with this all round. No offence taken Jools, I put it up for critique and always welcome honest opinion.

certainly suits the sepia treatment Chris. As for people in the pic, that's the only trouble with going on holiday, the place is full of tourists! lol
