This is a joint effort between me and Allie...I supplied the first background she supplied the second background and I supplied the image, we then merged the backgrounds.
This is part of a new style of images that I am trying to produce called " A vision of Colour"
they are not easy and can be totally absorbing and frustrating when the final image comes out....hence why I havent been on here much Sad
we are at Kingston Lacey this weekend if anyone wants to pop in for a chat SmileSmileSmile

Chris, not working for me because of the two petals that have a shadow area, they look like eyes and are drawing attention away from everything else in the image.

a beautiful image Chris, love the background. I don't have a problem with the 'eyes', that's how the flower is and in the large version you can see it's a gradual shading in from the surrounding petals,
Chris.

This works well - I play with flower pictures sometimes and when it comes out well I never know how I arrived at the final result!!! It is rather addictive and, of course, time consuming!

Hi Chris - V1 is tops for me. On my monitor I can see the shape and shadow of 5 petals and this gives the image a little more shape than the amended V2. SmileExcellent b/ground btw.
