Works well for me, and how well it stands out against the black b/g.
I have never tried a B and W conversion of a floral image so must have a go at this too.

I know a lot say flowers would not be a first choice for monochrome but I think they can work really well, as this one does.....

I think this one works even better than the last, Christine.
Texture, form, curves and the contrast of the light centre, that works really well.
