Now there were suggestions to get a shot of a butterfly on yesterday’s buddleia. Unfortunately the durantas are stealing the show and the butterflies are troughing at those Sad

Actually, I uploaded a Plain Tiger on the buddleia several uploads ago but the buddleia didn’t look very good in that shot.

From that same afternoon, though, I took more shots of the Plain Tiger…and here is one feeding on a Siew Mei. Two shots of it.

I’ve known this plant only by its Chinese name but I Googled it today and it is Wrightia religiosa.

Two beautiful captures. V1 is my favorite, so crisp and clear. Even a tiny bug on the flower..........Sandy

This is as good a butterfly shot as I've seen here, it seems to have its own little world, all clean light and spring greens. Delightful.

One stunning image, Andrew. Focus, colours and details are 1st rate. Can't imagine why anyone decided to use the adjective "Plain" as a name for such a beauty!

V1 is Superb A - the clarity of detail in the butterfly is outstanding - a great pose with it hanging on the flower and a beautiful natural look about the whole image. Wish it were mine.Smile
