Me and the other half recently spent a few hours at the Mablethorpe Seal Sanctuary. It’s a really nice place to visit, however because of the construction of the pens, runs and cages it is not what you could call photographic friendly.
That said all the animals there have been rescued and we both enjoyed our visit so I hope you like these images.

Very nice set, Christopher; I really like v's 1 and 3. V.1 looks like a juvenile, with the speckled head. Well done.

I like V1 and V2 - great shots! I have also been to this sanctuary, some years ago now, and as I remember, I could not get very good pictures of the seals due to the reasons you state. Oh well, at least we saw them!
