It's a Scottish "puffer" the little steamers that used to serve the west coast of Scotland, particularly the islands. They were designed to be beached so they could be unloaded and take off what ever cargo was going to the rest of the world. If you remember Para Handy that was a comedy show about a puffer called The Vital Spark. The stories were written by Neil Munro and there were two shows written about 30 years apart - the sixties and the nineties. I guess this got there under its own steam. Doesn't look like it's going to go far now!
