Friends,
this is one late evening shot that I'm surprised has come out to my satisfaction. It was taken at a small local beach, Druidstone Haven, I think during April 2007, at between 8.30 - 9.00 pm. I don't remember using any filters apart from my protective UV filter.

Any comments are welcome, as I'm still practicing!

Frank.

Lovely lush colour and a great relection in the smooth sand. The composition feels a little unbalanced to me. The dark line of rocks just below the horizon makes the comp feel top heavy. The two rocks in the middle ground have nice pools and sculptured sand around them. It might have been an idea to move closer in on them. Great photo nevertheless!

Simon,
thank you for your comment. I understand what you're saying. Back to the drawing board!

Usually, I like taking photos in bright daylight. I thought I would share this image with my friends.
I can say that in photoshop I did nothing to change any colours. But I will say that our human eyes see differently than the camera. Would I be correct in assuming that it's more noticeable when daylight fades?

I love this photo. The colours are amazing! The image as it is looks great, try Simon's suggestion and crop in around the stones for another fab pic!

Stephen,

thank you.

Yes, it was peaceful, I was on my lonesome. Just how I like it. Me, God and nature.
