I took this image early in October and handheld.

May not be to everyone's taste, but I see this simple gate post, every single day. In colour it would have obviously been boring.

I also decided to use a jpeg file, in order to use the settings on my camera. I also did the basic adjustments that I'm aware of, in Photoshop. Still not sure what Channel Mixer ought to do. I'm assuming it's better suited to colour images.

its a much better find than you think, please dont get hung up on technicalities

could be sharper and crop the sky and leaves a mysterious portal.

thanks for your comment. Yes a crop might have been a good idea.

It may have been sharper if I'd used a tripod!
