This is the kind of shot that I love taking, I continue to be amazed by DOF, I dunno why.
The composition is great and that classic duo of sky and field will always work well.

I like the idea and fair play to you for getting down and half dirty. My constructive crit. would be that the light is very harsh and unflattering. A burn brush might put a bit of detail in the cloud possibly. But hey nice idea, and we can't all go ack at 5am to get it perfect LOL
