I think you have a great concept here, the composition of the image is good and I agree with Cath and Peps that the blurred petals draw the attention away - with this image I would put the focus on the colours and textures, experiment with adjusting the brightness and contrast of the image to boost that lovely pink colour and the texture of the stump, hope this helps
