Great image. I wouldn't develop it too much if I were you. I think the simplicity of this is a strong point. Nice work.
I would tend to agree with Peter above Clint, maybe try to get rid of some of the highlights but I like the gentle colours of this.
That fish looks a tad 'down in the mouth' though
Can I be honest? The angles don't quite work here. The concept is brilliant, and the digital manipulation work is spot on, but the horizontal water line doesn't tie in with the angle the bulb is sitting on the desk/surface.
We're looking from an oblique angle down on to the bulb, so the water filling the bulb, for ultimate realism, should also be at an oblique angle. Don't ask me how to get that effect! I haven't got a clue! Maybe shoot a circular goldfish bowl from the same oblique angle with the water full to the brim. That might go some way to marrying together the two images.
All in all a great idea though.
great idea but I can see where Chris is coming from with the comment on the water level - I like it but what do I know
Great idea - an interesting concept - looking forward to its progression
Well planned and cunningly executed!
I find all the comments really interesting and have got my mind working I look forward to the next edition. I love the simplicity of the shot. Ann
This works for me.
