This shot was taken on an Urbex outing to an abandoned Sandos Pharmaceutical factory...this place really was amazing....it looked like something from a zombie apocalypse movie without the zombies lol....there were crazy labs, creepy corridors and debris everywhere...it was so cool!!!!! Anyways this is the firt of many shots from there....i am putting two different versions up. In the past 13 month of my photography, my style and processing has been changing, learning new techniques and developing my own signature shots. When i process i shot i usually end up with two or more versions and then choose which i like most. I used to be all about the vibrance and details, but recently i have been going for more subtle, atmospheric shots......with this shot though i couldn't decide so ill put up both versions. I think i prefer v1 so that willl be cover shot.

V1 is my preferred subtle, atmospheric shot (i think)
V2 is the more vibrant, detailed shot

i like both versions, v2 just has the edge as it feels like being in a creepy computer game, great shot to begin with.

They are both very good in their own right.
I do like both versions.
There is something extra about V1, as you say more mystery.
I like the signing on the radiator too.

I know what you mean, Clint. When I first discovered HDR I went for vibrant on everything, but as time progressed I toned things down and prefer like you, a more subtle approach.
However in this case I think V2 has more to offer.

version 1..I prefer your'e more subtle approach Clint................. strong work matey.

Santos laboratories..I'm 99 percent certain that they were the sole makers of L.S.D. when it was legal...... timothy Leary made them millions in a roundabout way.

Quite surprised these derelict buildings are still around. You must get a real kick from exploring, not to mention the excitement of getting caught or who knows what! Brave person! I know what you mean about developing your own style and I have to say, I love it as it was, I like V2 better, it is Clinton! Like everything tho, we change our styles and I will still love them nonetheless, but don't lose that vibrancy, it's awesome. Smile

PS V2 still has atmosphere Smile

Tbh I would like to see a combo of both these images.I prefer the windows in V2,the darkness at the end of the workplace from V1 but the detail & light in the bottom third from V2
