Firstly thank you to everyone that kindly commented on yesterday's image. I'm blown away by your reaction to it. To mdoubleya, Nigel, Ed, Chris & Dave's UA's and to NatureHeaven GEA, thanks again guys, means a lot....
This is the side perspective of the same moth as yesterday's upload. If you're lucky enough to ever find them, so long as you're are extremely gentle and it's not too warm they can be very patient specimens and very easy to photograph, the main trick is finding them. Tomorrow I intend to post a close up stack of the same creature whereby the just the head of the moth fills most of the frame.
Thanks again for the reaction to yesterday's, hope you all have a great weekend.......Ade

a fantastic shot, one even you must be proud of. (SL)
Got my book at last all I need now is sun ![]()
A fantastic follow up Ade, this one is even more spectacular and colourful than yesterdays and the detail in the eye is awesome. These must be as easy to spot as my mate Gwyn on the golf course, they certainly stand out a mile cos of their shocking pink colour!
I'm looking forward to Tuesday in the Forest of Dean with you and Gary if you can find specimens like this
Impossibly pink
. Surpasses even yesterday's image, Ade.

As much as I like the extreme macros and appreciate the skill and patience involved for me this is the type of shot I prefer. Classic pose and composition showing natural habitat. Brilliant.
Outstanding work mate, definetly worthy of all the awards. Have another one
