The beautiful little fishing village of Staithes nestled in the cliff surrounds, taken from the top of Cowbar Nab.
Stitched from 9 portrait shots in CS5.
Cheers for looking,
That's a crackin Pano mate. Sometimes a single shot just doesn't capture the place well enough, but this does a great job in detailing the whole village. Lovely light and perfectly exposed for the dynamic range.
Nice little stroll up to this location Paul, you’ve done well to keep the undergrowth in the foreground to a minimum
Wonderful light Paul, and from that POV. We climbed it grey clag so no shots !! How Staithes should look !!
Nice light here Paul, well worth the walk
Superb pano in beautiful light. The composition is wonderful. (I imagine it's not Pickering as I can't see a sign. )
Lovely pano, and a great 'alternative' shot of Staithes.
Oh I do have the 'other' angle too Stuart
Cheers all, glad you like this one too. Incidentally I have also taken some zoomed shots of the boat in the beck with sunlight on it and only found out when I got home that there's actually a Kingfisher perched on one of the ropes in a couple of them
Beautiful shot Paul, an award coming up I bet
fantasick photo like from me.
Great work indeed Paul, was up at this point a couple of years back but wasn't anywhere near the conditions/light you've captured here.
Fantastic work Paul. UA! PAul
Top seamstresstry (? where's my OED link when I need it...) Paul and very effective, but I would expect nothing less
Had this on my to do list but didnt have time this trip. Not sure I'll bother now as you have cracked it! Excellent pan as usual.
Really nicely done. Great light.
Definitely put your stamp on this one Paul
A big thanks everyone for your time and comments.
A huge cheers too to Paul and Clive for your awards, thanks guys
Voted on this earlier - wish my stitching skills matched yours ! 😉
Have a chant award , super image Paul!
Blimey ... thank you too Chant.
CS5 did all the hard work, I just tried to make sure the shots were as 'correct' as possible.
Smasher that mate. Like it a lot.
Cheers mate ... me too, but keep that to yerself
Bloody gorgeous shot mate, get it to the tourist board, they'd lap this one up....
... now there's a thought
Hey, cheers John ... hope you are well!!!
