This shot was spotted (by my partner, since you ask – who also claims he pressed the shutter) on our Sunday walk on a nearby private estate….. the wooden structures in the foreground are hitching posts for polo ponies in the Summer.

I have used it to experiment with the technique of merging three exposure variations of the same RAW image – sky, middle distance, foreground – into an adjusted image.

A dull composition, I know….but I quite like the end result.

I don't think its dull at all. Lovely mood to it and well processed. Have you tried photomatix to combine various exposures? I use it for some of my shots and find it quite useful for certain scenes. John

I'd have levelled up the hedgerow thou, 0.73 deg ccw, you know me !
