I took quite a few shots from this viewpoint , varying the exposures, cropping, bracketing etc., etc.

This one was fairly free of visitors so was a tad easier to clean up.

Looks quite the jigsaw puzzle material don'tcha think?

3 shot HDR processed in the three P's - Photomatix, Photoscape and Picasa

Thanks for the visit and I hope that you enjoy the work

There is great potential here. Forgive me but the one weakness is everything centered.
If your statue were placed in the right sky...or the right plain part of the building, the image would then be much more attractive. My humble opinion.
You have cropped it correctly. Not too much sky and close to the stacks. This is a very attractive image in any case. TG

Thanks for the input folks and point taken. I was there for nearly 4 hours and took about 1200 frames (I was horrified to discover!Grin) and I do believe that somewhere in that lot are just the images that you suggest Grin ...although on those there are a few more visitors to clone out so I've left them for an autumn evening when things are a bit quieter on the picture taking side. Still like my full frontals though Grin
