Buzzard by Geofferz

Buzzard

Ah, my wife & I miss the British buzzard. Over here in the States, what they call a buzzard, is one butt-ugly creature.

Good shot.

Gutted! by mad-dogs

Gutted!

Lovely shot, but shame about the current events going on there. It's so sad to see the old world disappearing, especially when it's fond family memories.

Cardinal by Kloid

Cardinal

Lovely shot.

They are beautiful birds. I saw 2 just merrily flitting around a porch the other day when I went for a walk round my neighbourhood, a lovely sight. And for me being a Brit (now living in VA), part of a totally new look on wildlife from my own country.

Ah, I miss that scene & the whole drive round there. My wife & I lived in Moffat till November just gone. We now live in Virginia, USA. So long way off.

Thanks for sharing a memory.

Hi Mike, nice pic. Trying to think where this is, could it be near Bosham? Used to live in Chichester so know the area well. Chris.

Chichester Cathedral

Nice shot & great place to photograph. But then I'm biased as the Chichester/Bognor Regis area was my home so to speak until 3 years ago.

Rannoch Moor by cmawson

Rannoch Moor

I tried to gauge the final picture in my mind, the prime problem was that I was shooting into the sun, but I thought rule breaking was ideal for this shot. I did process slightly in photoshop elements 4, but not enough, I felt, to over compensate for the rule break.
