Taken on stage 4 of this years tour. The team time trial out of and back into Montpelier. This was taken at the village of Murviel Les Montpelier which was the half way point of the 35km circuit.
This is Mark Cavendish as he swept round the corner at the top of the village.

Thanks for all the positive comments.
Sue - yes first time at sports/action trying to combine my love of cycling and photography. Finally realised a dream to see the TDF live and just had to make a go of capturingthe action. Learnt a lot such as turn off IS and manual focus for best results. Also pick your spot and stay with it to make the most of the action. Have some other shots to upload once I get home (still in France until Sunday) and a good one of Lance Armstrong and Alberto Contador.

Just found this one - I love the way you've caught Cavendish, throwing himself headfirst into the frame. And I am very, very envious - getting to see the TDF live is one of my unfulfilled ambitions.
