Continuing the look through images taken in France over the last few years that I had not processed. This was taken in a fish market in Trouville-sur-Mer which is a litte further down the coast from Honfleur in Normandy. It was taken on Bastille Day.
I watched this lady for a little while as she had caught my attention with her forthright manner and some impatience when serving customers to her stall.
This one I feel catches the moment quite well as she waved the bag of prawns at the customer to ask is that all you want then!
Did toy with going mono as I have a natural preference for black and white, but liked the colour in this and the warmth from the tungsten lighting above the stalls.
