A Cattle Egret photographed in The Gambia. This little fella was not a keen model and I managed to capture this before he flew off. Shot at the 105mm end of the lens at 1/125s at f8 and 200 ISO. Comments appreciated.

You captured the bird very well - like the way he looks, a bit fierce...
The lighting is very well done - there are no blown out highlights and still detail in the white feathers. And that is hard to achieve!
Would be tempted to play around with cropping some of the top, lefthand side and bottom. Not too much, cause I like the patterns of the leaves. But with a bit of cropping the bird will look larger in the image.
