With Bonfire night approaching I felt it was time to dig out the shots I took back in July of this year on Bastille Day. On holiday in Carcasonne I got to see the fabulous firework show over the old cite of Carcasonne.

I would love to know what you think of this as I struggle to create a firework image I can be happy with. Any advice, comments both good and bad are welcome. The second version has added a layer with additional explosions to fill the sky a little more.

I think I prefer V2, it has a more random, less crowded feel. Love the red-hot battlements below.

Stunning shot. Prefer V1, but agree with Moria thah the top right is a little crowded. Perhaps just a couple of bursts there.

Like version one myself, good foreground interest with that red glow.
No real suggest on firework images I'm afraid.
Regards Richard.

One of the best firework shots I have seen. V1 has my vote too, no advice though....not done any fireworks since my film days! Wink

Great exposure with the fireworks, love the glow of the castle and nicely put together, although on the right it feels like the fireworks are behind the arc of the red glow
