A second from the Photography Monthly challenge on the Peak District for the second round of the Photographer of the Year comp.
Love to hear what you think - I envisaged this in black and white when I saw the scene. Comments welcome
love the comp.lesley
Beautifully composed shot. Great tones ............Sandy
Great view of Hen Cloud and nice lead in with the wall.
Classic mono; great composition and lovely subtle tones. What would it look like with a tad more contrast and perhaps a subtle blue toning to give a colder, windswept feel?
I think this is one of those images which could be presented in several ways and each would be fabulous.
Like your composition and the tones in this - good details too.
Well captured and converted.
Beautiful shot, well composed - great tones and light - well done !
Love the lead in from the stone wall.
Another cracking image Paul ,maybe a touch more contrast inthe foreground .But the image is great
I think this could use a little more contrast: more specifically, the blacks aren't very black. The composition is spot-on, though, and I do like the way the wall and the two fence posts echo the mountain.
Great image works well in mono.Heres my vote to make it RC..
Wow! Thanks very much for all the comments and thanks Stephen for the RC which is my first.
Very chuffed. Thank you.
