Something quite different from my recent uploads. This is Chloe. Daugher of my very good friend Gary. They both came to visit today and whilst having a windswept walk along the seafront both Gary and I took some portraits of Chloe. She was more interested in walking my two dogs with my wife but was quite patient to have a few pics taken.

Full of fun and a beautiful young lady - amazing blue eyes and although I was tempted to convert to mono I had to leave this as colour to show off Chloe's eyes.

I was trying to show Gary how to get the best out of his camera but with him being a Nikon user and me Canon I really struggled to work out the menus so in the end I don't think I was that helpful at all. I keep hearing that Nikons are more intuitive to use but I have to say it seemed very fiddly compared to the simplicity in use of the Canon. Goes to show I should just stick with what I know!

C&C welcome and thanks for taking the time to look.

Paul

Definitely different to windswept Whitby and Miss Whitby 1905. A great image of a very pretty girl, and too right... those blue eyes would be a waste in b&w. Save that for the likes of Roger and his mates.
Cheers,
Phil

A delightful portrait. I like both the angle and point of view, a great idea to create something a little different Smile

Hi Paul,
What a great picture, her eyes are amazing and the colour version is getting framed for her wall. Reading your comments i think i will switch to canon, then might get more help. Cheers buddy
