A third image on the Beggars of Prague. Wherever you go you find hardship and poverty. This was the first of the Prague Beggars I came across that was sat as opposed to crouching on all fours with head bowed and cap outstretched. I left him some coins following taking some pictures but he did not move. His head was badly scarred and it made me wonder that aside from having nothing these people must face other terrible things.
This was taken on the steps that take you up from the old town to the Cathedral and Castle. Tourists making their way past this fellow were giving him a wide berth and a group of Chinese tourists took photos of him from a good distance yet made no attempt to drop him some pennies for their intrusion. He appeared to be a source of amusement for them which I found to be quite sad.
Please comment and thank you for taking the time to look - this is part of a short series and the third one.
