The fourth shot in my short series from Prague. Starting with Golden Boots these images take a look at the less fortunate.

This fellow was just off the Old Town Square on the corner of a quiet street. Less than 20 metres away the square was packed with Tourists enjoying their City Break and seemingly oblivious to some darker sides of life that were around them.

Thank you for looking and I hope you have enjoyed them. In some way I hope they touch a chord as they did me when taking them.

Please comment and thank you again for taking the time to take a look.

My next posts may be more cheery!

Looks like a lifetime of hardship etched on that face. Wonderful portrait.

That is a face that shows a tough life - so easy to overlook the more unfortunate amongst us and images such as these serve as a stark reminder that not everyone is as lucky as we are.

Excellent composition and the mono representation is ideal for the subject.

A great street capture. Not what you would call a pretty face but certainly eye catching.

the ever so slightly out of focus on his features offer a somewhat disturbing feeling to this shot, well done and love the other shots as well
