Hi cocobean.
It's nice to see a junior member experimenting with black and white! I have seen your portfolio (voted for the hungry goat also) and I believe you had a great eye for discovering images (the D picture). It is also nice to see you working with still life and not so still life (as the pets). It helps you get a taste of many aspects of photography, it seems you are enjoying yourself well.
Still life is an exercise for many aspects of photography. I think above all it gives you a good chance to play with composition. You can play with lighting and colours as well but the most important is to develop a skill to see what is missing or what fits best into your picture. Your subject will wait for you patiently to finish your job and your thoughts so take your time, don't jump on taking a picture, create a picture. Use your imagination and make the best of what the picture can give you.
There are so many things to comment on your picture....
So I think I better make you think about them yourself one by one:
What is the pattern that appears on the right bottom corner? Is it a garment? Does it belong to a person? is this person using the two teapots? Will that person have tea? Where is the cup? Does that person or the garment need to be there?
Are the teapots filled with hot water? Would they look better if some steam was evaporating? What if some tea labels were visible, showing that the tea is getting brewed? Could one have coffee inside?
Think the chairs. I see one close, one away in the background (not bad for a background). Do you want the table to sit two friends one having tea and the other one having coffee? What could they both need or ask for? Spoons? Sugar? Milk? Cups?
Let's say that you don't want to make an imaginative story, And go back to the two pots. Could a shot from another higher angle include just them? Would it be nice to have them facing each other?
Make these questions to yourself, let the answers you will give guide you to your next shot.

I could see she is wearing a watch with a dark leather strap (?) on her left wrist, that the camera has a silver finish aww today I can see the artist too.. she's not much distorted by the curve on the pot. I hope she finds my critique, above, useful.
Another suggestion, if you want the privacy or the fun element to be included. Frame it, arrange the camera settings and let the picture to be taken by the camera's self timer. Maybe hide under the table?
