Spotted this today on my way to work, popped out at lunchtime to take a few images as the sun and clouds were out. Polarising filter used. Variants attached.

Two excellent images, Darryl, the polarizer certainly pulls the detail out of the clouds.

Brilliant shot Darryl. Love the contrast in colour between the harvest and the blue sky with the clouds. A+++++

Two great shots, the epitome of late summer in the countryside, Darryl, with V 2 also my favourite but but by a small margin......love both.
Ronnie.

What a wonderful sky, Darryl, especially with the wispy streak of cloud in V2. I love the individual ears of corn in V2.

G'dammit Darryl..now I've got to add a polarised filter to my wish list..I hope your'e happy with yourself..gotta ask the wife for money again now :-(

...seriously though.... Love it my mate........... Piccie one would suit a Pink Floyd album cover..almost dream like.

V2 is also great...mmmmm can;t decide which one I prefer, as they are both top class.

Daryyl, You are clearly as good in sun light as in the dark lol. I love them both but v1 for me. The worlds biggest hay bail or you are lying in the mud.....again. Straight foreground, sharp and your trademark saturated colours. Smile

Top work with the polariser, Darryl. v1 has a strong perspective but I do like the slightly wider view in v2. Excellent blue/gold colour contrast.

It's a really lovely photo. I really like the large bale in relation to the little ones in the background. you can as good as feel that stubble where the straw has been cut, it's so clear!
