A brave crop/composition Gary. The idea to not include the left part of the fallen branch and to place the right part so close to the frame would not occur to many, but it works here and frames the lower portion of the shot well for me.

I like that. At first I thought you'd done something funny with the colours but once I'd had a proper look I realised that it was an amazing natural light beautifully seen and photographed.
