I have got to photograph this event some time, it's my idea of photography heaven... This year's is producing some amazing pictures, this is one of the best. Totally insane, plus a damn good composition.
I am not even going to speculate what that is up his nose. But it's strangely compelling.

I first got 'seriously' (for want of a better word) involved in photography in the 1980s, photographing off-road motor trials. I do remember the attractions of steep slope plus copious mud. Though I don't remember snot. I really could have fun with this.
