I thought I would have a go at a few insects while in Crete this July so I bought a little Canon EFS 55-250mm f4-5.6 is lens. I say "little" because it was only about £150 but what an absolutely cracking lens it turned out to be, so damn sharp.
But Crete...in July...don't go there, too hot.
