I love the use of DoF - the stamen look like little drops of gold Smile

I might even be tempted to crop the bottom to lose the large stamen and create a letter-box crop - even more mystic IMHO - try scrolling the screen and see what you think Smile

I think you have done very well here: although slightly out of focus, that just adds a little to the mystery, and so your image is nicely titled. Jolly good attempt.

I love the colours!

I agree with Fran about a little cropping, but I was going to suggest something a little different. I think I would have included the whole of the bottom stamen (you've just nipped the edge) and crop a little off the left (to remove the green area) and a bit more off the right (to a) give more open space on the left and b) to balance the shot). The problem with this kind of shot is that it's very artistic and of course everyone has their own ideas what is 'good' or not! When it comes down to it, it must please you - experiment with the image, do a few crops and as long as it pleases you, then it's perfect! Smile
