Good morning....
Thank you for all the votes and comments on my lion uploads and to Maureen (HarrietH) ,Christine (Cookie_Monster)and Paul (Stub197 )for their UA's.....much appreciated.
Back to the small wildlife today.....spotted this little fella on a flower on the last day in the bush....another one that was so small I only noticed him when I was capturing the flower and zoomed in on my camera screen, then put on my macro lens to get this.....I am sure someone will know what he is...
Have a great day...

Definitely some sort of sucker bug but don't know which.

Brilliant picture of the creature and the flower!

This looks very similar to the dreaded vine weevil that we get over here.
They are prolific in certain soils and cause intense damage to plants - a most unwanted pest!
Tis a great shot Colleen - stands out well on the yellow. Smile

Tiny but brilliant, love it. The contrast between the beastie and the flower really works well. Excellent work.

Excellent macro. Looks like one of your native beetles, think it's a Hairy Darkling Beetle (Lagria vulnerata). If you go on this link you will see it. https://picasaweb.google.com/103788100027081676391/BeetlesColeoptera#57657515922...
