Good morning from a cold cape Town brrrrr
We are finally home after 32 days on the go,5planes,8 trains,10 hop on buses,8 different beds and 60 taxi rides...and I haven't counted how many images I captured No wonder i feel I need a holiday.
A big thank you to Herman for his UA for my Blown away flower
Today's image is one of the places I visited with Angela Seager in Manchester...The Royal exchange is a grade 2 listed building built between 1914 - 1921. The site was used for commodities exchange primarily but not exclusively for cotton and textiles. It has 3 beautiful glazed domes which I show you in the lead image. The building was designed in the Classical style and they used a lot of Portland stone. I just loved the icecream colours they used on the walls. I have included an image of the old trading board which is still there today. It now houses a theatre.
Have a nice day....
