Good day......
Back to flowers today.....found these unusual flowers growing in the Lily pad hot house at the Adelaide botanical gardens. they are about a foot long and the bush is full of them....see the versions....up close and the big picture.

Andrew from Singapore has kindly ID'd this flower as Heliconia rostrata....commonly known as Hanging Lobster claw....this can clearly be seen in one of my versions........thank you Andrew
Enjoy your weekend

P.S Aplogies if I missed or only voted on your upload the last few days, our internet wifi is intermittent...more off than on....grrr

A beauty Colleen. Lovely colours.
It looks like a mina lobata to me - but not sure as that is more like a vine.
Whatever you have really captured it well Colleen. Smile

Heliconia rostrata. These flower freely in our garden and are very low maintenance. One of the plants the sunbirds regularly visit for a feed Smile

What wonderful shots of them! I like the treatment in V1, especially, Colleen. And look at the mass of them in V4! V2 is my favourite of the bunch, though.
