Good morning.....
Not often I do mono images but thought this elephant image suited it... This elephant was right on top of us ...no zoom needed....

How much closer can you get? This is an outstanding shot of this magnificent animal!
I love elephants. Only seen tham in the wild in India and Sri Lanka with pink ears...

I have had closer. Once an elephant approached my side if the vehicle. The Ranger said to me "just sit very very still" ... That was easy I was frozen with fear. The elephant put his trunk over me and smelt inside my camera bag with his trunk. Then turned around and walked off into the bush. Whew!

Nicely shot. Mono works as it's all about the skin texture.
In fact, this would benefit from a boost in contrast - you can often push mono more that way than you can with colour - to make the most of those wrinkles.
