Re the upload - a flower/plant we are familiar with here too
It has a sinister solemnity. It knows its power. This is superb.
A welcome visitor in these darker days.
Stunning colour and lovley soft background.
I'll overlook it's sinister side!
Great detail, superb colour and lovely b/g.
Beautiful delicacy in the petals, as well as colour. And super detail in their centres. Stunning shot.
A beautiful flower -- perfectly captured here, Jenn. Classic thirds composition with just the perfect DOF to create an very engaging image.
Wonderful clarity Jenn.
Like the shade of blue Jenn.
A fine shot.
Beautifully composed and captured.
Beautiful delicate image which belies this plants toxic nature. October Stormhatt in Scandinavia, the toxin is an alkaloid causing severe nausea and progressive bradicardia which can slow the heart so much to cause death. Accidental poisoning is unlikely as it tastes very unpleasant apparently, but the toxin can be absorbed through broken skin; florists, gardeners etc.
Interesting plant and great image.
The detail in the petals is superb and the colour is delightful.
Lovely isolation and composition, set off by that wonderful b/g
Superb image Jenn.
Gorgeous colour Jenn
Wonderfully taken image, Jenn. I like it a lot.
Beautiful coloured flower, Jenn.
Something so beautiful can be so deadly....amazing....beautifully captured with great use of dof
The bokeh is perfect to set off this innocent looking bloom, Jenn. Its looks deceive!
Having said that, my ex mother-in-law was a good looking woman, but as poisonous as hell!
Wonderfully crisp against that lovely background.
Really beautiful Jenn - lovely detail and colours
Stunning shot Jennn.
A beautiful flower image Jenn with the out of focus background adding so much.
Lovely shot Jenn. What a lovely colour. Cathy
