The day was another promising much in the way of sunshine and that soon disappeared to be replaced by grey/white clouds and the temprature dipping .....Here in Kent we have a severe weather warning for around 15cm of snow tonight, am night shift and therefore will have the cameras with me.... You never know
Eagerly awaiting Sunday again albeit that I finish at Eurotunnel at 6 am and have to get home, changed and load the car with the stock for the Sunday market. The opportunity to apply the few minor changes advised from some and to change the display set up , hopefully to attract the browsers to turn into buyers. The monies we raise on the stall, we will then get more printed to A3 and Canvas... Canvas seems to be the thing this year, everyone wanting one ! We cannot compete with the chain stores for the volume or their price but I can beat them on quality and uniqueness... We limit the amount to ten prints maximum for canvas and fifty for A4 and a mere twenty five for A3.
Have had two enquiries via the website for quotes for work , and despite not giving prices as more detail was needed and responding in a very timely manner the folks have not come back. Now is this a ploy by other local togs to try and see where my pricing is going or is it genuine prospective customers.... If it is the latter and they are really wanting a quote then why not come back with a second response, and if it is another tog the same applies but come back and say tis ok they have someone or whatever suits. What I find annoying is that I do not do it and therefore afford the others in the area the same respect.... beginning to appear for one that respect is not required !
Till next time
