An earlier than usual blog entry, am totally knackered and heading to beddy byes very soon !

Got home , changed and had a coffee, woke Mari and we loaded up and headed to the frozen wastes that was Folkestone harbour. The ice was thick on the ground... We spread some salt and then a miracle the sun broke through, between the salt and the meagre warmth from the sun, the ice soon melted.

We had a lot more interest in the images, and a lot more browsing, I was more forthcoming to the folks this week. A few folks said very little , maybe they thought it a compulsory purchase if they spoke.... However quite a few said a lot ... What they though of the images and what they would like to see if we didn't have anything similar. As expected the returning for the canvas next week guy failed to appear, would have been more surprised if he had come back !

A couple of hours in and a sale ! We played it so cool but we were over the moon, the feeling that someone will have one of our images on their wall ..... excellent .... the first sale seems to have been the hardest because before the day was out we had four sales.... a few cards and calendars too. Perhaps the fact we were there for the second week is a factor. To top the day off another tog came along and gave his opinion and it was more than favourable, then the icing on the cake, we were asked if we did pet portrait sittings.... So the idea of selling our images and possibly getting some business from this is ( slowly ) working. Long may it continue....
