Some trees from loch chon. There is a beautiful scenic lurking in the background, unfortunately the morning fog got the better of me. Not all bad I thought, a nice diffused light, a clean background to emphasize the shape and colour of the trees. but then again perhaps not....................

I like it for the exact same reasons you do. Subtle diffused light, uncluttered background giving the shape of the trees centre stage

This is very appealing to me----fog images are subtle and very special--when done well, as is this one!

Subtle colour and strong shapes. I realise the trunks are on the rh third but the shape of the trees suggest a crop on the right to put the trunks closer to the edge. Thinking out loud here but it may be a more balanced image.
