enolaphotography

Lovely photo but I have a question (definitely not a criticism). I have also used Photomatix for similar shots and am not 100% happy.

See the portion of water above the rope to the right of the image, why does it come out a diferent shade (in this case darker) than the main body of the water.

The same happens on the left of the image between the ropes. I'd love some advice on how to avoid this without dodging and burning.
