Now that I'm armed with an iPhone full of photography apps, and of course with quite a good integrated camera, I find that I take a lot more photos with my iPhone than with a regular camera.

Of course, many of those photos wouldn't be taken at all by me if I didn't always have my phone with me, so it's not a shift in photography, really, but more like additional photography. Quite a nice trend, I think.

Today, for instance, the weather wasn't that great until during my walk with Ashley. And then when the sun did come out, the iPhone also came out. So the picture below wouldn't have been taken at all if I hadn't taken it with my phone.

And in case you're wondering what could have been achieved if I had processed the picture on the pc, and not on the iPhone, this is what I got when I used PhotoShop, the Topaz filter, and Noiseware (of course I had a different kind of end result in mind when I did it this way, so it's a completely different kind of image than the one above):
