Sometimes it's the simple things that can be the most striking to look at.

At an airport I was looking around, wondering if there was anything nice to photograph - perhaps people greeting each other, possibly a glimpse of a good-looking aircraft - anything really. After a while I put my camera away, since I didn't spot anything that really appealed to me.

Instead of looking around, I looked down. Hmmm. Nice floor. I liked the lines.

And after playing around with the iPhone shot I in the Infinicam app, this came out as the final result:

Oh, but I did get held up at the security checkpoint because the tinned pie I was taking for my children looked like a landmine on the x-rays!
