Some more app testing going on here. I'm still on the free ones, although I've now also downloaded a number of paid ones, including of course the famous Hipstamatic app. But let's do another free app first: Fisheye Lite.

This is just a set of distortion filters, it has nothing to do with real fisheye lenses, it only makes your pictures look like they were taken with one - the main difference being that it doesn't expand your field of view as much as a real fish-eye lens does, it just distorts the picture to look like it was taken with one.

Here's a quick test shot I took with the app:

Besides this circular fish-eye effect, there are some other distortion filters as well, but they didn't particularly appeal to me.

I think this will only get limited use, but it doesn't take up much space, is easy to use, and could be fun. And it's FREE!
