224 (1752)Before I make the definitive switch to my new iPhone, I thought I'd have a look to see if there were any usable images left on my Nokia E71. "And, were there any usable images on it?" you may ask. Well ... er ... that all depends on your definition of "usable", I suppose. I'll let you judge for yourself.
Here's a shot of the HMS Warrior I took in Portsmouth a few weeks ago. Horrible quality, and that's after I'd done quite a lot to it in Photoshop:

Not exactly publication quality, is it.
The same goes for this sky I shot last Sunday:

I mean, they seem allright if you look at them from a distance, and no bigger than the size I used here, 600 pixels. But come closer, zoom in, or just view them at a larger size, and the image quality is just shockingly low.
I'm glad that soon an iPhone 4s will be going everywhere with me, I have the distinct impression that it offers a lot more quality, and not just bigger images!
