Looking at chocolatiers' windows is a lot safer in the evenings, when they're closed. And Bruges has quite a few chocolatiers, as I found out last week when I spent an evening there.

The old town centre is very nice, with lots of historic buildings, but some of those buildings house attractive shops!

I found this in the window of one of them...

I believe you. It's terribly tempting!

We managed to restrict ourselves to just one bag of chocolates, which we ate walking around Bruges one afternoon. Sheer, unadulterated Heaven!

There is a chocolatier in Hove ( near Brighton ) which I visit, but unlike yourself I go when they are open.

Usually end up spending around £40

Perhaps on the next visit ( Saint Valentine's Day is not too far away Wink ) I should take the camera and ask if I can take some shots of the displays.

£40? Wow! (Or Ouch!?) Is there a Chocoholics Anonymous near you that you can go to for support? Wink

Audrey's Chocolates

Perhaps you would like to take a "virtual" visit.... less expensive that way Wink

Looks delicious. And I agree, a virtual visit is definitely less expensive. Tongue (I must have almost passed that shop last Friday, driving through Hove, along the coastal route.)
