I've done something very, very unusual today. Well, that is to say, it's highly unusual for me. I know other people do it. But I normally don't. I think that in five years or so I've only done it twice. Or possibly three times. Which isn't very often, is it. Not in view of my many uploads.
I deleted a photo I had uploaded to the Gallery. Normally I don't do that. Even if it gets just one vote, or just a few views, I leave it alone. If just one person appreciated it enough to view it, or even to vote on it, that's enough reason for me to leave it in the Gallery. And that's just as well, because nowadays my photos seem to be an acquired taste, not something for the masses.
But this shot didn't just get no votes, it also didn't get any views. None at all. Quite unique in my EPZ history, that.
And so I just didn't see any point in leaving it up. And I deleted it.
Unbelievable, really. But there you are.
(Note added later: Interestingly enough, in just the few minutes that have gone by since I posted this, this blog post has been viewed more times than the photo I deleted. Makes you think, doesn't it.)
